Function:

The PIK - Civil Advisory Committee drafts and keeps current the Kansas civil pattern jury instructions published in Pattern Instructions for Kansas - Civil, and suggests improvements in the area of civil law that come to its attention in the course of its work.

Assignment:

The Committee prepared a fourth edition of Pattern Instructions for Kansas - Civil which was published by the Judicial Council in 2008. The Committee will continue its work on its "plain english" project.
